Matt Shelper
Managing Director
Matt Shelper joined Vector Finance in 2012 as an approved representative, going on to be a Company Director and owner in 2018. Matt has a personal approach and enjoys the day to day challenges that the world of financial services throws at him. Matt is Vector Finance’s Managing Director.
Matt has two young daughters who keep him on his toes, in his spare time, Matt is likely to be with family, friends or training for an event in the gym.
John Baker
Chairman
John Baker started Vector Finance with a key objective, and this was to open the financial market to a growing sector with an emphasis on personal service. Vector has been successful for over two decades and John is Vector Finance’s Company Chairman.
John maintains his keen interest in fishing and looks forward to visiting remote and distant locations for sport fish. With a quick sense of humour and a love of lively conversation, John brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Bev Quail
Senior Operations Executive
Bev joined Vector Finance in 2019, with a comprehensive knowledge of financial services, client care, and partner relationship management. Bev has experience as the account manager for the leading account at a major bank, and lease desk supervisor at a high performing SME, providing internal and external colleagues with exemplary service throughout her career.
After hours, I enjoy walks with my lovely (if slightly mad) Shih Tzu, Milo, travelling and watching/supporting Bristol Bears Rugby.
Abbie Lock
Office Manager
Abbie is Vector’s office manager, a role needed and created in 2022. Abbie has a leadership history in sales administration and thrives on providing efficient and thoughtful customer service. Abbie is responsible for the smooth running of Vector’s day-to-day operations, providing support to all internal and external personnel.
After hours, Abbie is a proud pet parent to cat Lottie, and a human parent-to-be in October 2024. Abbie enjoys travelling (especially to New Zealand), learning Welsh, and exploring new and interesting places to eat.
Will Baker
Business Development Manager
Will gained his general experience at a well-known international bank before joining Vector to specialise in Medical Finance. Will’s role focuses on new business development and supplier relationships, with an increasing emphasis on new start practices.
Outside of work will enjoys following the England cricket team with the “Barmy Army”, going to the gym and hiking in the countryside.
Dave Naden
Area Manager
Dave is a well-known and respected face in south Wales and the west of England within the dental industry. He’s been enjoying the challenges of the sector since the early 1960’s and his enthusiasm for the industry never wains.
Dave lives In Cardiff, with his wife and has his family nearby. Outside of his work, Dave loves his dogs, a bit of DIY, football, and fly fishing.
